Summer Week Recap #5

I went to yoga! It was a sub teacher….happens often in the summer and it just wasn’t the same. But after I met Allison for lunch at Huckleberry!

Went to a doctors appointment. Now they are every two weeks instead of once a month.

Donny got everything in the boat put back together after replacing the starter and putting new boards/seats in around the motor so we went out and enjoyed the sunset!

I was piano moving supervisor for Robin and Justin because they are out of town and they couldn’t get the moving scheduled before the left but had to be done before the closing date. No one had been in the house for over a week and it was hot in there.

Another evening on the boat watching the sun set. We even enjoyed some time in the water.

We watched BeeGee for a few days.

Enjoyed sitting on the porch and walking up to Sweet Cow to get some ice cream.

Donny got a new to him drill press which promoted a clean up of the garage. Despite this picture looking crazy the garage is very tidy now.

Summer Week Recap #4

Moved this plant to a new spot and it sprouted 3 new leaves.

Went and got a pedicure

We found the bed we wanted for the Nursery/Guest/Craft Room on Facebook market place. It’s a daybed from Ikea that can pull out to a king size bed. I just need to get a comforter for it.

Watched Nelson and we enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood. It was sunny and warm so we tried to stay in the shade.

I think I settled on a chair that I want in the nursery. We will see if I change my mind before we actually buy it.

We drove to Junction for a Family and Friends Baby BBQ Shower. Everything is still very green.

Baby BBQ Shower was lots of fun! Me at 30 weeks pregnant.

On the way home we had a little rain but the rainbow was super bright.

Horsetooth Boat Camping

Right before Fourth of July we went camping for two nights at Horsetooth reservoir with Sam and Deidre. Keith joined us for a night and Kevin came up for the day. Everyone (but me) enjoyed early morning skiing before the water got busy. We had lots of fun hanging out in the sun and enjoying the water.

For these campsites you boat into your site and you cannot access them by car.

The water level was very high and a lot of the campsite was under water. Our tents were set up on a bit of a slant which made sleeping a little challenging.

Our boat did decide to stop working while we were on our camping trip but all turned out well. We had left our campsite to go pick up Keith at the boat ramp and when we tried to leave the boat decided not to start again…turns out the started needed to be replaced. Thankfully we had two boats at this camping trip.

Summer Week Recap #2

Added some flowers around the light poll in the rock area outside out door.

Trimmed some of our mint we have out back and made a mint bouquet for the bathroom.

Made a set of cards to give as a hostess thank you gift for the baby shower with my co-workers.

One of the teachers I work with her daughter was in our preschool class the last two years and she joined us at the shower and this is the cutest picture.

Went to prenatal yoga again.

Have been enjoying my flowers from my flower subscription from Honey Smiles Co.

Enjoyed lunch outside.

Went out on the boat Thursday evening with Sam and Deidre….weather failed us. It was sunny and hot all day until we got out on the water. Donny wanted to do some work on the boat and if you want to start it up it has to be in the water. Didn’t even take a picture of us all not having that much fun.

First day of summer was cloudy, rainy and not that warm.

Did my glucose test. This drink wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Baby Shower

This past week I had a baby shower hosted by the teacher I work with and another co-worker with everyone on the early childhood team. It was so fun to get together and see everyone again. Even though it had only be a few weeks into summer it felt like forever since we had seen each other.

Summer Week Recap (#1)

A recap of the past week. It’s full swing of summer break and I have been enjoying sleeping in and not having much of a schedule.

I finally got some flowers for the front porch hanging baskets!

Went to prenatal yoga.

Watched Nelson of a bit one afternoon and we took the stroller I got out for a test drive. He loved it!

Got a rubber tree plant start from the neighbors.

This past weekend looked like it was going to be rainy and not nice out but turned out the morning was sunny and warm. Sam, Deidre, Donny and I all went out for a morning ski before the afternoon rain. I didn’t actually ski just enjoyed the sun!

Even with our mostly rainy or cool evenings we have gotten to enjoy the back patio.

Mom was here visiting too and she helped me organize the craft area of our second bedroom and get the baby things we currently have in more of an orderly state.

The Before….it was real bad.
