Peppermint Play-doh {Homemade Christmas}

I found this fun play-doh recipe through a blog I read regularly (can’t remember which one) and just had to make some. It was super easy, smelled great and had a soft texture. I used the recipe and directions from The Idea Room blog one this post.

Here’s what you need: Flour, Salt, Cream of Tarter, Peppermint extract, Vegetable Oil, and Water

Optional: Glitter, Food Coloring

*Mix 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup Salt, 2 tablespoons Cream of Tarter in a medium size pot

*Add 1 tablespoon Peppermint Extract, 1 tablespoon Oil, and 1 cup Water

*Stir continuously for 3-5 minutes until mixture forms a ball (if you are adding food coloring add now)

*Remove from pot and knead until smooth (if you add glitter add it now)

Store your play-doh in a plastic bag in the fridge

I made one red (20 drops of food coloring) batch and one white batch. Pictured is half of each.
