Hello blog! It’s been a while. The end of the school year was a bit crazy and this first part of summer has gone by so fast. We have been working on projects around the house and I have been enjoying my first summer of not teaching summer school. Here’s a look at what I have been doing this past month or so. And don’t worry July is jammed pack with fun.
We went to Vegas with friends
It snowed May 18th
Celebrated the last day of school
We cut down the tree in our yard and are building a deck
Donny’s been racing and riding his mountain bike lots
I celebrated the retirement of a fellow nursery teacher…she taught for 25 years!
Planted flowers on the front porch
Bathroom Remodel pretty much complete (only touch ups left)
Spent a week in Junction with my parents and my brother came to visit
I made a card
We went to a wedding
I wore this adorable Lularoe Amelia
We have been making progress on the deck
I didn’t make
many any DIY gifts this year except these two. I gave these as Christmas gifts but these could easily be given as wedding gifts.
A keepsake wedding invitations ornament. I have made this for several friends now all of who have loved it. If you are wanting to make one yourself here’s some instructions.
Hand painted wedding date canvas. I did cut out the numbers with my silhouette cameo and trace them on the canvas. This particular font was one the bride used on her invitation, program, and signs she has around the ceremony/reception sight.
Wedding pictures! I was so excited when Deidre sent out and email saying that the wedding pictures were ready to look at. I couldn’t wait to see them all! They turned out amazing. All the pictures were taken by Vera In August. Here are just a few….
Boulder Friends! Keith please move back and bring Bridget with you.
A fun wedding party picture. I sure wish I knew what Donny said here.
Around here this past couple of weeks
Happy 3nd Anniversary! Hope you had a wonderful time celebrating. Wishing you a Happy Year Four!
Donny and I had lots of fun at Sam and Deidre’s wedding this past weekend. I have lots of photos to share soon.
