My Project Life Process

I am doing project life this year on a monthly timeline and thought I would share how I put the month together. I try to keep it as simple as possible and am using the Midnight edition, letter stickers, stickers, and washi tape.

1. I cut all my pictures that I have printed to be 3x4s or square instagrams.

2. Organize them by event or activities. Then pick up each pile in the order I think they will go in the book.

3. Place the photos where I want them to go

4. Add filler and journal cards

5. Journal and embellish

2014 Project Life

This will be my third year of doing pocketed page scrapbooking and I have loved it!

In 2012 I did a photo a day, in 2013 I did weekly spreads with December being everyday as my “Daily December” and this year I’m going to focus more on a monthly idea. Having several spreads for the month but not worry about what week the picture belongs to. I love taking pictures of our lives (important and not important) especially the everyday pictures. Looking back at them brings back so many memories and makes every minute of scrapbooking worth it. This year I don’t want to have to worry about each specific week and just focus on getting pictures into the book.

I’m also going to keep it simple and for the first year using a core kit. I choose the Midnight Edition and got the Michale’s exclusive camera binder (thanks mom!). I went with the Midnight Edition because of it’s simple color scheme of black, white, gray, and yellow. I imagine that it will be easy to incorporate other supplies with it easily when I want.

Here’s the cover page for my 2014 pocketed scrapbook!
