February 2018 {part 1}

We celebrated the first 100 days of school at our new school. It’s a brand new school this year so it was kind of a big deal.

I painted a yarn holder for my knitting projects. Still haven’t finished that scarf.

Donny turned 30! And we celebrated by going to see a Podcast taping live.

Donny has been enjoying going up to Eldora and skate skiing this winter.

I used my birthday and tutoring money to get some flats that I have been wanting for a long time. So far I am liking them but they are needing some break in time.

We got these really neat water blocks for the sensory table at school. The kids have really enjoyed playing with them.

January 2018

Happy New Year. It’s been a while…here’s what we were up to in January.

We pet sat Buddy and Sweets while Theresa, Clara and Anna went to Disney World over Christmas Break.

I have been going to yoga with a teacher friend this school year.

For my birthday we went to dinner at bartaco…so yummy! I also got a pedicure on my birthday since we were still on Winter Break.

I started knitting a scarf.

Had a spa day with Jessica for my birthday.

We tried a new breakfast spot. I love biscuits and gravy and the Biscuit bar didn’t disappoint.

For Anna’s birthday we went to the Melting Pot.

Went to Bunco that a group of teachers from my school do every month.

It snowed. But not enough for a snow day.

We dog sat Oakley. The calmest most chill dog ever.

Winter isn’t my favorite and on this day I’m going to guess it either snowed or I have to scrap ice off my windows and it was very cold.

30th Birthday

First we had breakfast at Huckleberry with Theresa, Clara and Anna

Then I opened my presents….Donny made me this wall art and and necklace holder. I want to print out a picture from each of our anniversaries and this art will be perfect for the display.

I got a massage!

The day before my birthday I got my nails done!

My tutu skirt for dinner out

We had dinner at Brasserie Ten Ten downtown….so yummy.

I had a fabulous 30th birthday! And the weekend after I celebrated with friends….we had Sherpa’s takeout and homemade chocolate cake! {only got one picture}

Sweet 16 Spa Day

For Anna’s 16th birthday Clara and I got her a mini facial…she was super excited! We of course had to go with her so we made a spa day out of it! We all ended up getting facials and they were fabulous.

I LOVE the spa and could seriously spend the day there doing nothing but sitting around…sitting around in the hot tub, the sauna, the steam room, looking at magazines. Repeat. All day long. So relaxing. I can’t wait to go back…maybe a massage?
